The new album by elbow is getting a lot of airplay at the moment. Some great tracks shining through already, none more so than the opener, Things Ive Been Telling Myself For Years.

I've just recently been spinning this one a lot. That break down before the outro is something else

Off the new album, Audio Vertigo, which is the best stuff they've done in a while.

I saw this on some BBC2 show on Saturday night, and I’ve barely thought of anything else since.

What an incredible performance, what an incredible artist, lost tragically young. I really regret not putting Grace in my favourite albums list a few years back, as it is a complete masterpiece.

A bit late to the party but I've just downloaded the new album by St Vincent, All Born Screaming. I've subsequently being playing catch up (that's not a song, I'm just catching up) on the band's back catalogue. I now know where Wolf Alice get their inspiration from, they're very good.

Grinderman. Nick Cave's first album under this moniker. The song Worm Tamer, is hilarious. The lyric, "Well my baby calls me the Loch Ness Monster, Two great big humps and then I’m gone" is brilliant..
