Your driving along albeit a bit slowly because of heavy cross-winds and this frustrated driver overtakes and slows down to flick the V's at you in a completely unnecessary. Later on I find him in front of me at the set of lights as we enter the next village, my mate who was next to me said I should of got out and "had words". But I kept my cool and declined, would you of done the same? Ever been in that sort of position before?

    You did the right thing.

Why didn't your hardcase mate get out and have words?

Yeah i would of got out and had some words. He only stuck the V sign up at you cos you was in the car. Face to face he would of probably of got scared. I remember when a truck driver cut me up and he gave me the *****r sign at the lights. So at the next set of lights I got out and he didn't even get out of his truck.

I would do nothing because it isn't worth the stress.

A lad a work once got cut up by a transit on the motorway so he flashed his lights at him. the transit dropped back behind him and got right up his arse for a mile or so. Anyway when it was his junction he was pulling off and the transit got in the second lane of the slip road and tried to cut run him off the road. So he slams his brakes on and pulls over, the tranny van carries on for a bit then pulls over. The guy then jumps out of his van with a scaff pole and does my mates windscreen and drivers side window, luckily he ducked down when his window went through. He escaped with only cuts from the glass thankfully.

thats why road rage is not worth it.

I'm pretty chilled in the car but when called upon digits have been thrown, or if I have angered other cars I tend to give out a stupid happy face.......I feel this would annoy them even more.

I tend to tut or swear and shake my head in disaproval more than anything.

I would have told him his cock was far smaller than mine and then given him the V back.

As i drive for a living i see this stuff all the time. :party

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. :angryfire

I have been cut up loads of times, had the V's and finger flicked at me,all this from CAR drivers.

As a van/truck driver people in cars are too insignificant to worry about, jumped up people who think they own the road, they are best ignored.

I, personally, would probably have kept my cool and ignored the little mug although depending on how worked up I was I might shout something. A few people I know would have done a bit more than 'have a word' if they were in the car though.

    Agree.
You never know that nutter might have a weapon in his car...

I saw a film once where a woman complained when she was cut up at city lights.
It was a dangerous criminal on the run and she was effing and blinding at him as he had cut her up, he gets out of the car and pumps 2 bullets into her forehead, gets back in the car and drives off. I've never forgotten that scenes, pity I can't remember the name of the film.

    Remember that c*nt Kenneth Noyes?
It'll happen again, that's for sure...

Noyes didn't kill that guy in a road rage incident, it was a drug dealer of his who had shafted him.

    I take your point though.

Never **** with a Transit you never know what they have in the back

Ive got 2 sledgehammers 2 very large wrecking bars no need for a baseball bat :smokin:

Seriously its not worth the stress I used to be like that in my younger days and have a go I didnt drive most of the day as I do now, Im older wiser and if Id carried on like I used to I would have either had a heart attack or ended up 'inside'. Just swear and count to ten it does the trick for me nowadays :thumb

Were you on the motorway? Were you sitting in the middle/outside lane? How slow were you going? Do you look like a mug, most guys would have no problem knocking out? Did you really keep your 'cool' or did you pee pee your panties? These are the things we need to know before making judgement :p

I had a driver three inches from my bumper last week. At the next stop sign I stopped (as people rarely seem to do at stop signs!) and he was right up close to me again - certainly too close to overtake. So, I got out, tapped on his window and politely though if he though he was driving a safe distance from me. I was as patronising as I possibly could be. His balls shrunk right up and apologised for driving so close.

I've done it before - If you don't lose your temper the other driver doesn't either (generally). If he pulled a crowbar out I would be off in a hurry though :D (whilst calling the police)

I am terrible. I have chased after a police car before now whizzing past me without it's lights on, must have been doing 120.
Also chased after a bloke who cut me up on the freeway in Cincinnati. Shame he had a BMW, I couldn't keep up after the bugger! He knew I was after him and hit the pedal. :angryfire
