It tends to usually be celtic or rangers in scotland. You never seem to hear of any supporters of small clubs like montrose or berwick. is there any out there?

In N. Ireland, we don't really have much of a choice. It's Rangers or Celtic mainly due to the politics etc. Imagine being the sole Celtic supporter at a mainly Protestant school or the only Rangers supporter at a Catholic school? It's what you are born into over here. Tho I know of a couple of Hearts fans over here and a Morton fan!!

They are about 100 points clear in their division as well. Only a few years ago they were in the scottish premier and now are in div 2. Soon be back to div 1 i feel.
its the same in scotland as it is in N.I. It is not where you live, it's more what you are. Many of you English don't seem to understand.
I am a Ross County supporter. And it is not what you believe in which affects Old Firm fans. It is being a glory hunter. Religion is just some stupid excuse, altho is another reason to ban religion. hey cam, just because were from the BIG CITY doesnt mean we're all violent nutters. Although that is MOSTLY true of some areas, like the east end... and isnt it possible that Rangers and Celtic have large supports because they are based in a large catchment area? I know of course there are others who follow Rangers or Celtic due to success and/or religion, but even without those people we'd still have larger fanbases than anyone else - and I am one of those catchment area'd people too!
Perhaps it's not glory hunting maybe some people prefer not to stand in a shit ground watching shit teams play shit football, just because they are from the area
I follow Celtic because I'm Catholic and my Priest Supports them!!!
