With the results of a recent poll (which was designed to show our chairman how unpopular Sam is) showing nearly 4 in 5 want him out, who would be a good appointment for west ham? Bear in mind that we have over 70m debt so they won't be in a position to spend much on the team, who will not only be able to keep us in the league with our squad but get us in the top ten as our fans expect? our fans want - laudrup, moyes, bilic or hoddle. The favourites are harry, malky and billy davies. Who realistically should west ham get in to replace big Sam and do you think it's a risk sacking a manager who has got us back to the Prem in 1 go and kept us up for the next 2?
If we are to sack Sam I would love moyes to be our manager, he is my perfect choice. However, Is he really going to come to us? And our fans want 'west ham' football and Moyes is fairly direct and most certainly doesn't fit the criteria. i cant see how that would appease our fans and in reality why would he come to us, a mid to lower prem team that still has serious money issues
I think Moyes would go to most premiership sides to be honest, not like he covered himself in glory recently is it or ever won anything at Everton
You just need to look at what he did for Everton with little money and a club knocking about the lower half of the table. He's a decent manager, don't let what happened with us put you off him whatsoever. It's just a case of whether he thinks he's better than that now he's had a taste of other things . . .
I agree and would definately have him as manager should sam get sacked. Imo he would be the only choice of the potentially available candidates but I cant see it happening
Exactley. Im happy with Sam for the time being. West ham fans calling for sam to be sacked due to style of football but would back moyes are fckin idiots
Has Sam really done that bad of a job? You were doomed at one point so I believe, kept you up with games to spare.
No he's done a great job! We were in real trouble at Xmas but in a far worse position 3 years ago when we went down. Yet 4/5 hammers want him sacked. It's pure arrogance and delusion, our fans think it's easy to get promoted and even easier to stay up. We were that poor when we last went down that the wrong appointment woyldve seen us drop again imo. With our squad and debts he is the perfect manager for the time being. It's difficult to see how he lasts the summer though with this much pressure on him
I can see why WH fans want him out, only having 2 tactics that both involve the ball going to Andy Carroll's head firstly must be turd to watch and secondly is predictable and not exactly going to get you scoring lots of goals. What about a former WHU player, Malky Mackay?
