Any of you boys off to the game then? Just been and grabbed my tickets £35 for mine and one of the kids, not bad price.

Hopefully we'll manage to pick up our first away win but doubt it:hmmm

Rekcon Laws will make any changes to the side. Steve Fletcher should be back so i think he'll be going straight into the starting line up.

Whats the best place to park at Wigan?

Been before a few times but always gone on the coach and with leaving it so late to buy tickets all the supporters coaches will be booked up by now so going in the motor, only a 40min drive from my gaff.

Theres a pretty big sorta 'pay on the day' car park right next to the ground, think its behind the away end if I remember as well. Can't remember how much it is though, and will probably be hard to get off after the game.

Don't chance the retail park though, big chance you'll get a ticket.

    Nice one Claretpete:p

Had a look on football ground guide about half hour ago, forgot about that site and its more or less saying what you said. Fiver to park there will go for that option.

this past week or so you've been posting in the Burnley side more than the Burnley fans:laugh:

Hopefully we can get the win..but then again it all depends which Wigan turns up :rolleyes. Im quite looking forward to this one should be a good game as both teams need all 3 points will be a blow for us though if N'Zogbia isn't fit.

Just got back from the game:slap: gutted we lost i thought we deserved at least a point today. Didn't create a lot of chances but should have gone in a goal up at halftime. Players battled well from start to finish but just lack that much needed quality at this level. Duff HAS to stop in the defence, our best defender today by a mile. Kevin McDonald did alright today

Steve Fletcher didnt look interested to me at all, link up play was ****, movement wasn't there and dont think he knows the meaning of workrate. Keep him on the bench for me and let Paterson play through the middle.

Diame had a really good game for Wigan  Moses made a decent impact and from where i was sitting looked as though he set the winner up. Jordan kept giving him too much room though. Although i can understand him standing off a little bit because Moses would have him for pace everytime

Ah well another week another defeat

Can't say it was a convinving win but we got the 3 points which is what matters and we are looking safe from the relegation zone at this stage. Our performance in the first half wasn't very impressive but we picked up the pace in the second half, and we did certainly deserve to win in the last 20 minutes of the match. There were a few standouts for us including Moses who i thought really changed the game for us, Moreno was very impressive and Scotland who scored a ripper and probably played one of his best games in a Latics jersey.

All in all with exception to the last 20 minutes we were very poor but I'm relieved that we were able to come away with the 3 points.

I thought it was a decent second half, there was some good end-to-end stuff, there was no real quality in the final third from both teams.

The first half was pretty poor, there was no drive and dtermination and allthough the there was some decent football being played at times, both teams was giving the ball away to easily, i did think we edged it overall, bercause we had the better chances imo, allthough Burnley should be disappointed because they played their part in an entertaining match and could have scored themselves.

Gatti, i do agree with you about Fletcher, he was about as useful as the Popes Balls yesterday, he didn't look like he was up for the game at all, and was quite surprised he wasn't taken off earlier.

Fletcher can play miles better than he's been doing Saturday and before he broke his hand. Maybe there is some truth in him leaving for Bolton come the end of the season. If they pay us the money we paid out for him or a little extra their welcome to him.

Eagles who the fans kept shouting for did nothing either and was far too easy to read. Eagles seems to do alright for a couple of games then produces nothing at all and in some ways Laws is right sticking him on the bench.

    :(

on to the mighty Blackburn then, just hope we can manage a win against them and at least have something to look back on at the end of a relegation season

FA to look into the object thrown from the Burnley end :rolleyes Idots i hope they catch whoever did it and ban them for life .

Reckon they'll also have a look at the elbow by Duff. If they do think he'll be looking at a 3 or 4 game ban. Not a chance it was accidental and the more i look at it the worse it gets.

    Silly lad

Burnley could be looking at a fine or something because of the knobheads chucking coins at Drogba last season in the cup game:slap:

Most of the people round me were laughing:no: oh yes very funny somebody getting smacked on the head with whatever was thrown

Why does the few ruin it?:angryfire Luckily we don't really have a problem with that sort of thing anymore, IMO, it isn't the club's fault, how can it be? the club cant control stupid induviduals.
