They had a big earthquake that wrecked our hotel, a couple of months after our big Peru trip, so I think not.

I remember struggling to go near the full height window in the room and definitely avoiding the front few rows of the rooftop bar in a hotel we stayed at in La Defense, Paris. Although the views were good. Heights are not a strength.

Ohh where was that ? I've stayed at The Meridien Etoile in La Defense but that looks much nicer - must go back there - remember a wonderful little restaurant on the roundabout out front

it's now called something like the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile. It's probably had 2 or 3 refurbs since we were there but the view is the same and we also found a nice little restaurant nearby that was a Deli during the day - had delicious white Burgundy tapped from a barrel.

Back in the 80s it was called the Hôtel Concorde La Fayette.
