    What car would you get?

Really open to anything mate, I drive around 200 miles a week so I've been looking at getting a diesel.

Been looking at a few 3 series BMWs and X3's that are decent.

    Bloody annoying is car shopping.

Problem with BMW's is they cost a fortune to service and if you don't service them every 12 months by BMW then it will put a lot of people off when you come to sell ( as well as reduce the value of the car)

All SUV's cost a bomb to tax in case you wasn't aware.

    Mondeo.

I had the 2.0ltr diesel. It's economical, lovely inside and out, cheap to maintain and a good drive. Ford are so underrated. With 10g's you'd easily be able to afford the top spec one aswell with the sat nav etc. really good cars. I'll be getting another one in 4 years.

Octavia is a better car than a Mondeo from my experience.

Lol. The octavia's interior is shit compared to the Mondeo and it's German so its more expensive to fix.

Can't comment on the Mazda but again you have the problem with prices for parts.

I wanted to upgrade bits on my Mondeo and found everything I needed in a breakers yard.

Dawg wouldn't be seen dead in a Skoda so that rules it out straight away.

Octavia VRS is a f*cking beast.

After writing your car off the insurance on your next is going through the roof.

Get something economical with high technical spec like a 1.4 Peugeot 207 and enjoy it while your insurance recovers

We've had VW's for years. Great cars.

Interested what the insurance will be after writing off your last car though!

    You're obsessed with that car.
