It has 265 bhp, the GTI is only 200bhp. Its also lighter and more economical than the old R32.

 

They weigh about the same as a 747........ yes the 65 ton planes!

To be honest, can any 'perfect' garage contain 2 sub-£50k cars?

But on that budget, I'm thinking for comfort and luxury something like a Range Rover Sport. And then a little Corsa VXR for a bit of fun, and running around town etc.
