...couple of hours ago I booked flights to Hamburg in November for 0.02p, tax free!

Came out to £2.42 all together including debit charges.

Still can't believe it! The prices are up to £70 quid now!

Who said following England was expensive?

Be very careful. I know Hamburg has two airports, and one is miles away. Check the airport is Hamburg and not Lubeck.

Worst vase scenario, Lubeck is 33 miles from Hamburg.

It is Lubeck. Getting a train to Berlin as that is where the match is being played.

Good stuff, didn't know where it was being played.

And I'm not sure what my cheapest flight has been. Probably from Liverpool to Belfast or Liverpool to Sevilla.

New airline from Stansted, Buzz offered return fares from Stansted to Genoa for £20 return.. I flew there with my son, the very next day after Italy had lost to France in Euro 2000. Was thinking the Italians would be sour faced and disliking everybody. I was wrong. They were nice

Ive been looking at flights with Ryanair as I'd really love to get away for a bit. Have been looking at Stansted to Reus (Spain). The prices seem to change daily so I better stop dithering

Well a long as LyingAir don't shaft You that's peachy :thumb Did I mention the Newcastle fans They stiched up in Norway ?. Two years ago after playing Lillestrom in The InterTwoBob Cup some of the mags were waiting to come home on the Sunday morning, Mr LyingAir apologised and said that the plane would'nt be able to fly as there was a technical problem with it, imagine the fans suprise when Mr LyingAir came back to them within the hour with the news that they would now be flying back to an alternative airport in England, in the very same plane that was'nt able to fly to Newcastle.

Was thinking of Salou but the Gerona flights are coming up slightly cheaper and better flight times. Shame Ryanair don't fly to Greece because thats where I would rather go.

If ryanair gave you the flight for free they'd still be overpriced. Bunch of pricks.

The flight I want at the moment is around £60 return with Ryanair. Thats fine. Its the £8 check in fee PER person and the £16 PER suitcase PER person that I found absolutely outrageous :angryfire

They will also treat you like an animal as they think they can get away with it. I'd rather pay for a real airline than suffer the indignities of ryanair.

Thing is a real airline charges a fortune for a flight to Gerona. I have flown with Ryanair before. I think I can stick it for 2 hours if the price is right. My beef is the 'add-ons' after you think you've got yourself a cheap price. It shouldn't be allowed to happen.

Last year I went to Madrid and my case was overweight and they wanted to charge me £160.00 to bring it back :eeek I moved a bit out of my suitcase into my hand luggage, argued til I was blue in the face, and they let me off.

EDIT : Just booked three flights to Gerona from Stansted for only £38.00 return each!
