we've took this guy for a trial. A left back position which is something we badly need to strengthen. I know he has featured a couple of times in the Champs League for you and i think a few times in the Premiership. Can you give me your thoughts on the player? wether he would do a good job for Rangers or is he useless like Djimi Traore?
When he came to Liverpool, he was excellent. Linked up very well with Riise for a bit of the season - then got injured. Has never been the same since. Attacking left back.
I get sickeneed by the level of abuse aimed at Djimi, he displays all the same characteristics as Carragher did pre-houllier, always making rash challenges and wayward passes, call them the inexperiences of youth... However the lad can ****in sprint fast, dribble and run with the ball, head the ball, and hes about 6ft 10, these are qualities you cant teach a player, you can teach him to pass and when to tackle...
Goood luck to him, as deathscar has said if he can keep his concentration then he has the potential to become a useful player.
