However, now Zidane is pissed off cos Juventus appeared to be doing nothing to say 'No, he isn't for sale' so he may now end up leaving for massssssssivvvve wages although I doubt it! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
Last summer, Florentino Perez and Monsieur Zidane are in the same restaurant in Spain, Perez shakes hands with Zidane leaving with him a note saying "You would be very welcome in Madrid". On his way out Zidane replies with a note with his phone number on it, saying get in touch soon and we'll see what we can do. Zidane's wife is Spanish, and she would ideally prefer Barcelona, but from a footballing point of view, Zidane prefers Real. It is a matter of time, basically once Juve admit defeat. Perez is trying to build a Dream team, and that means Zidane, a world class defender (he wanted Nesta but he's staying in Rome), and another striker which seems to be Marcelo Salas. They really will be unstoppable, and it was only a superbly organised Munich team who stopped them this year.
Just heard that next on their list is Valencia star Mendieta, who has a clause, like all spanish players, which means he can be bought out of his contract. His clause is set at some £36 Million! What a team!!
