I heard somewhere that Zidane was unhappy with the way things are run in Spain and is allready considering moving back to Italy where he has played the bulk of his career has anyone else heard about this then or is it just me?
I don't think he moved with the intention to be unhappy! Obviously he/his family hasn't settled in to the Spanish lifestyle or he isn't happy with his role at Real Madrid.
LOL!What I meant was why did he bother leaving Juventus at all?He had no need to move and the money can't have been all that better. What will Real do now?I cannot see anyone else paying 50 million pounds for him.
I heard this one too. Apparently his family are not settled and he is still yet to buy a house. However, there is very little chance of him moving isn't there! Inter were rumoured to be ready to offer £50m for him tho- think it was just to wind up the Real president! BTW, Cjm, he is probably getting better wages per week at Real than he did at Juve, and he would also have got a percentage of the transfer fee as well!!! Alos, he THOUGHT he would be playing with the best team in Europe! Oh well...
Zidane has always said that his dream was to play for Real. When the opportunity arrived, he could not refuse to move (actually, Stam did not want to leave Man U but did not have the choice). But he is really surprised at the pressure he has to support. The supporters and the press are really not patient and believe Real should already be on the top. Of course, with the arrival of Zidane, the tactics have completely changed. I don't worry for him and for Real. :[
Personally I think at the most he will play for another 6 months and then leave to go to somewhere else! Leeds would be a nice club for him!
Zidane was only bought by Real as a ploy to get the fans happy. Real Don't need Zidane and wasted their money - the transfer was a marketing ploy. Juve have come off better. They bought who Real should have bought - Buffon and Thuram - with the Zidane cash. Zidane is about 30 now - good time to sell him while his price is high. Brilliant business for the Juve board.
