The Spurs connection has ben well-publicised. However, Spurs are being linked with just about every player going, so it may mean nothing.

If ZK DID choose Tottenham over Rangers on a footballing choice then he'd be a mug. Spurs have been ruined by Hoddle, and a new manager (who may want his own players) can't be far away there.

Rangers' bid to sign 21-year-old Georgian defender Zurab Khizanishvili from Dundee may be off after Tottenham entered the bidding for his services.

A friend of the player told the Daily Record that no deal had been finalised with the Ibrox club.

He said: "He is very interested in signing for Rangers and, although he is out of contract, he is listening to all offers on the table."

"Rangers made him an offer before the Scottish Cup final, but there was never any deal struck," said a friend of the Georgian defender.

"This is an important decision in his football career and he wants to make sure he gets it right."

Glen Hoddle is reported to have offered double the amount that Rangers have offered for the talented youngster.

I've also heard that Blackburn Rovers, Lazio, Sporting Lisbon (I think it was), and at least one other Premiership club are after his signature.

I think the loyalty of the Dundee supporters may well sway his decision. In my opinion, he won't be going to Ibrox. Fingers crossed!

ye i think Duffys words of wisdom has kind of put him off rangers coz i think it would be a bad career move to stay in scotland because he would fit into any europian team and it would not be a smart move going to rangers. Everton want him aswell

Zura i think will opt for england as of course it is the best league in the world and he has seen sense and realissed rangers wouldn't be the best career move!!

If he is to leave then spurs is my fav choice!!
