Wasn't even a penalty...never mind a sending off...but once the ref made his mind up then ok...he should have done the same to Given...don't get me wrong here, everyone has a go at refs for bad decisions and we all know that they are human but its the consistency that really lets them down and this game was the ideal example Its interesting to see that your lot are making predictions of a top three finish: and yes you haven't had a bad start but there is a long way to go yet. We haven't even started yet and we are still above you (nothing new there then). We were poor at your place and you still couldn't beat us. We will see how fickle your fans are when Mr Robert starts his antics (based on people who have watched him over a season).
you were obviously listening to the metro full time phone in! i couldn't believe that guy as well, mind u he is a newcastle fan living in middlesbrough so the smog has affected him! How can u say it weren't a pen, of course it was, ok it werent a sending off but even if he didn't get sent off it wud have been 1-1 and who knows what wud have happened! there was no inconsistency with the penalty decisions. boro man was the last man therefore he had to go. on the given decision he did clip ince's leg but there was 2 defenders covering on the line so i felt a red card would have been harsh. besides they still had the chance to score the penalty and they ****ed up.
Sorry Darnell but I think you'll find that there were Boro players behind Schwarzer...the ref said that Ince was going away from goal (why don't they just admit they F****d up).
