Getting There: Got told loads of horror stories about how the ground is in the middle of nowhere and how difficult it is to get to etc etc, but in reality it was very easy, pop on a train in Brighton city centre and your there in a few minutes. 7/10

Car Parking:We parked the minibus on the seafront, not sure what it was like at the ground.

View and comfort: Both very good, the seats were padded and the legroom was very good (important for me because i'm 6ft 6 inches tall  ). as this is a new ground there are no pillars or obstructions etc so the view was fine from behind the goal 9/10

Catering: Didn't eat anything but had a few beers after the game, not into real ale at all, but they put on a Coventry ber aswell, in the concourse there was a slideshow of City players as well, which is a nice touch. 8/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans: A lot of our fans were daytippers as we nearly sold out the stand where usually we have been taking 800 away, so this dampened the atmosphere somewhat, Brighton fans were ok but when you move to a new stadium, that part of the ground that does all the singing gets split up, happened to us at the Ricoh. 6/10

Pubs, things to do nearby: apparently there was one pub nearby, so do most of your drinking etc in the city centre 6/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating: Bar the result I enjoyed it, stewards were a bit overzealous but in general the Amex is one of the nicer grounds i've visited. 7.5/10

From what i've seen of the stadium, it looks worth the trip.

Haven't been since 2011 shortly before the official opening for the Sussex Senior Cup game vs Eastbourne. The stadium capacity on opening was c20,000 but now the four corners have been filled in and the West stand extended above North and South corners as well as the second tier on the East stand the stadium is as good as finished for now with the capacity of 30,750. The day I went there was an approx 9,000 crowd and the atmosphere was pretty amazing. I sat in West lower towards the North Stand. Took a walk at half time and stood in the undeveloped South West corner and realised how much room there was for expansion. Because of the amount of room dedicated to seat space width and legroom the stadium capacity could well be 15% more compared with a lot of yhe newly built stadiums.

I'm going to today's match vs WBA in the FA Cup and will be West upper. It's probably close to a capacity sell out.

Meh' it's ok, another modern ground in the arse end of nowhere, the day out is usually pretty decent though as Brighton is cracking for a drink, but out of town grounds are always shit.

First time i went, just after it opened, it looked like a multi storey car park because of the amount of concrete, they've filled some of that in with seats now but it's got zero atmosphere and i find the "welcome, whichever club is the away club" stuff in the away end patronising as f*ck.

Mind you unlike the weathdean at least you can see the other end of the pitch without binoculars.
