Probably one of the most important fixtures of both our seasons. Last season at Whaddon Road the atmosphere was fantastic, real relegation dog fight. Hope for the same this year, only hopefully this time we can take home all three (or at least get a draw). BTW Cheltenham fans, Paul Connor has left me a couple of tickets for the game, but I believe they are in the main stand with the wags. Do the turnstile operators check the tickets enough for me to get into the away end?
They will check...but you can always go into the office before the game to change them I suppose...how do know P.Connor?
I don't, someone else I know is good pals with him and he said he would get me a couple of tickets for free. Which he did. Courtesy of Paul Connor:Banana:
I wonder if this thread will be as good and long in pages and posts as last seasons one. CHELTENHAM V BOSCOMBE. See you on Saturday Warlord. YOU YELLOWS!?
Laugh all you want. I'm second most knowledgable about football in the league forum so don't write it off. Bouremouth have picked up a bit as well. They didn't play too badly against us.
http://www.channel4.com/history/microsites/B/bigromandig/camesaw/3_495a.html I think you'll find some holes in it
Well after SIX loan players going home after the agonizing Brighton game, we barley have a team. I think Dazza will miss this fixture for the second season running I can hope and believe..... That is all, no prediction....
Whey, I'll be there, becoming some sort of regular now. . Bringing along three more Northern boys, 2 have not yet witnessed the masterclass that is AFCB. I'm sure they'll all be dying to go again...maybe... Up The Cherries!
Come down to the C&G turnstile at the bottom of the carpark and make yourself known to a steward called Ted. I'll try and sort you out but don't leave it too late as it gets busy nearer kick-off
Well, this is perhaps the strongest looking AVAILABLE eleven we have had for quite some time: Higgs Lindegaard Caines Gallinagh Wright D'Agostino Russell Bird Brown Brooker Gillespie That looks a decent League 1 side but I am afraid this will be our lineup: Higgs Lindegaard Caines Gallinagh Wright D'Agostino Russell Bird Vincent Gillespie Connor Brown, Wylde, Brown, Brooker, Madjo.
I think we have only 2 players out injured. The ever present Darren Anderton and someone else that I cant remember. Having lost a load of loanees our team wont be used to playing with each other.
Perrett and Gowling are back. Gradel has been re-signed but isn't playing tomorrow along with Darren Anderton and Steven Foley. Jo Tessem has been cleared to play. I'd play the following team: Moss Young Gowling Perrett Pearce Kuffour Tessem Hollands Cummings Pitman Vokes Subs: Stewart, Cooper, Bartley, McQuoid and Bradbury. I think Bond might play Cooper though and take off Pearce putting Cummings left back, we'd be short of pace on the wing though! Worth it for one game putting him on the wing I think! I'd imagine an embarrassing 350 or so will make the trip up, hardly a third of the big contigent we took up last year. Hopefully the atmosphere will be as good from the away fans as it was last year. ROLL ON SATURDAY + WARLORD, DIEGO AND GLOUCESTER_RED
Sorry, but how to two players changing from your starting 11, turn you from a 'decent' side, to a relegation side.
The weather has been really bad today, but hopefully the game should go ahead. http://www.thisisgloucestershire.co...me=yes&more_nodeId1=231780&contentPK=19526656
Just got back from work and Cheltenham is flooded in places, especially around Prestbury....hopefully the game will go ahead, but it will have to stop raining/snowing soon for that to happen.
