Genuinely the same ****ing game albeit more realistic movement that is still a step down from PES. Get ****ed EA. Their career mode presentation better have some revolutionary stuff or this is going to bomb.
Think the Ultimate Team thing has been the death of football games for me. Career mode seems to either be stagnant or decline in quality each time I play one. Doubt I will play any EA Sports games again if everything is going to be essentially loot boxes and buying packs.
Pffft, it's changed massively. Take the UT meta for example - back in the day it used to be aerial through balls down the middle to pacy strikers. Now, it's low through balls down the wing to pacy wingers. See? Different.
Nearly 20 years later, EA still hasn't released a more complete game than the PES series from around the early to mid 00s: - Master league: still the greatest management simulation (player growth... evolved tactics... full finances... player training... every season felt different). FIFA’s Career mode gets boring after 10 games. - superior gameplay: no scripting, football tactics/technique/passing won you games, NOT OP-skills which no real life footballers use. Feels like the beautiful game. FIFA's gameplay is broken. Especially online. - online competitive more balanced, superior skilled players were the highest ranked players, not the players who spent the most. On FIFA's ultimate team if you don't pay, you don't win. - customize squads/players/kits to create your own leagues /tournaments / cups with your mates offline or online. No such freedom on the FIFA series. Take a look at the 2K series (NBA basketball) to see what is possible for a modern sports sim game. It's a whole universe... cinematic career experience... endless career/coach/manager possibilities and online modes... elite gameplay... FIFA/EA have no need nor urgency to change their shell of a game as ultimate team makes billions for them.
Mine too. It was just so good. Only problem was Adriano scoring top corner rockets from the half way line in every online match. . .
PES 6 was definitely one of the better ones but my days the Keepers may as well have been on the bench.
Confirmed that it's going to be shit. - No major changes to manager career mode other than adding training coaches + training plans and opposition breakdown summary. - No major changes to player career mode other than contracts (laughable its only now they have added it). - They also added a Balon d'Or ceremony as if it won't get old after the 1st time seeing it. - Gameplay they merely emphasized more on Frostbite engine and lighting. All in all, its the same ****ing game.
what would you like to see added/removed? not arguing; it's always interesting to hear some of the ideas people have for the franchise
