Josh Freese has joined, which I wasn't expecting. That guy is up there with the best drummers about. I'm not a huge FF fan, but I'll be interested to see how much he is allowed to do on the drums.
Expected. He played on the two Taylor tribute gigs and Dave has championed him before. His resume borders on the spectacular so he’ll fit in just fine. I don’t think he features on the new FF album has I think Dave did all the drumming but looking forward to seeing them live again with Josh.
They’re heading back to Melbourne in December. Tickets on sale on the 15th. Credit card at the ready..
Having seen him twice now I’d say he’s a little on the brilliant side of spectacular. Hits the drums hard and Dave has given him licence to go heavy and off the cuff on some solos. I have to laugh because on the Foos fan page on Insta a lot of fans are complaining that he’s playing too fast and that the band are struggling to keep up with him. Erm, Dave’s the boss and one of the best drummers in the world so I’d think he’d know best. These weekend wannabe rock stars make me laugh..
