It has also emerged in the last week that Ferrari and the FIA had signed an agreement four years ago that gave them the right of veto over the sport's rules. Didn't know that. Says it all though. The F stands for Ferrari
Ferrari get Formula 1 all the ££££ and have been in the sport the longest so I think they will always get preference for that matter.
Poor effort from BMW and Toyata (car not suited to slow corners according to Eddie Jordan) whilst Hamilton will be feeling pretty sick to through away a good chance of a decent position. Button does it again...often leaves it late and Ferrari might be on their way back.
Button gets a vital poll in a race where virtually no overtaking happens. Shame about Hamilton, got a bit unlucky as others (Massa, Piquet, Trulli) also spun but didn't hit the barriers.
Massa didnt hit the barriers?, apart from the part where he ruined his nose of course ..... Button may be on pole, but with the KERS on Raikonnens Ferrari dont expect to see him come into the first corner in 1st place
Yeah but expect Buttons race pace to be alot better than Raikonnens, he has a better car. Unlucky for Lewis today, think he'd of had a real chance of the front two rows but he'll come back from it- he always does
Raikkonen will lead but will probably crash out. He doesn't have the concentration levels to last a full race around Monaco. I'd say Ferrari would've rathered Massa in p2.
A typically very dull Monaco GP, it seemed to go on and on without much happening. Hopefully the next race in Turkey will be more exciting. Am I right in thinking that Turkey is a race track and not a street circuit?
I thought it was quite lively. Of course it had it's dull moments, especially towards the end. But at least it wasn't a procession from start to finish... the Vettel-Rosberg-Massa battle was really good, and the stratergy changes, due to the shite super-soft tyre was intriguing. And of course, Button winning made the race great
Monaco is traditionally one of the most boring races in F1. If it wasn't for the glamour, history, and wealth i doubt it'd be part of the fixtures. In good weather the race is not going to excite, however in the rain this race can be one of tre most exciting there is. Today saw the usual dull Monaco. Although far from one THE dullest there's been in recent years. Button showed his quality today in style, not a foot wrong, not a brake locked, looked after his tyres with his smooth silky driving and yet was competative through out. Not a single mistake made.. Apart from parking his car in the wrong place
I remember Mansell winning at Monaco years ago and he had to be half carried up to the podium. Button must have run half a mile today, so it's obviously not just the cars that are better prepared.
