10% of any fee goes to the club, which is great news as the money will now go towards improving the squad rather than wallpapering a restaurant in Macaw.
Nice start for the new owners at the Blues. The €103m fee that Real are paying equates to about £10m (not including the potential add ons) going to their war chest..
Jude ****ing Bellingham. Three goals in three games, the darling of Madrid already and the new hero for the fans of the Galacticos. I had a feeling he'd do well.
Superb start by Bellingham. I feared Tchouaméni and Camavinga were so established that he'd never get a chance, but the team has found a workaround, seemingly with the older Modric and Kroos pair on the bench. It goes to show how magnificent Bellingham is, walking right into the starting eleven and justifying it completely.
Southgate surely has to be picking a team that just revolves around getting Kane and Bellingham working together?
What could have been, we should have seriously tried to tie him up him before Real showed any real interest, once they show interest in players theres only one place theyre going. Excellent start to his career over there which is important with their fans reputation of being hard to please.
And Grealish too. The guy just seems to be an absolute pain to play against, and he wins plenty of free kicks, which is valuable in tournaments (both in terms of creating chances, and breaking up momentum when holding leads).
England are very lucky to have him. Birmingham's decision to retire his number 22 is looking slightly less ridiculous now . Now over to England to find the best way to bring the best out of him internationally.
Just follow the Real blueprint and work around him instead of trying where best to play him is the answer on my card..
