This part (from PSG) illustrates these clubs are being used as PR for human rights abusing states, if you were in any doubt... I think the only appropriate punishment for both clubs such rule-breaking can be a rescindment of their League titles from the 2013/14 season when these events occurred, crowning those 2nd placed sides as rightful champions, and a points deduction for this year to be decided at the end of the season.
I'd expect that would depend on all extenuating circumstances, for which the authorities would have to see the whole season play out.

To be honest I reckon they will, Spirit of Shankly and co will be out in force. I doubt there are many Liverpool fans...apart from the millions of plazzies in China, Africa, etc that would be interested in a European Super League.

Had a look at Twitter (I know) and saw accounts with Liverpool badges, ‘biggest supporter’ tag line and all that shit saying ‘why is this bad’. I check their location and it’s somewhere in the Middle East. That’s why I don’t mind the old plastic fan cliche and argument that people find tedious. Because as hypocritical and elitist as the argument appears to be it’s the right one. They’ll never really understand or enjoy the game. Not like the actual match attendees or people with genuine connections to their club. I do hope your support rallies around and tells them to get f*cked with their league. I can see yourselves and Man United doing that. I can see the other three teams however willingly allow these changes (I know some won’t and good on them).
