Don’t think shuttle is going to be a problem,we took over 600 and easy to get to ground.
The away end is awful though.

I'm taking my little boy (only 6) & they've said we have block A in the seats but it's opposite the terrace & rest of the away fans. Had a look at some pics/videos & the advertising hoardings are very low so expect he should be able to see over them if we stand at the front of the terrace early doors, as well as it having a load of steps so surprised some say the view is crap.

But remember seeing a few moans about the terrace earlier in the season as well as yours, any advice from any previous visitors/Boston fans if the safer bet is to go into the seats (albeit stuck right in the corner) with him?

They made away bigger for us but no access for fans, meaning only 1 exit and fans could not move.
It has to be worst design for a new build stadium.
There is an area behind the corner flag which would be good for your lad,if open for you.

Cheers mate - so crap facilities & a bottle neck getting in & out! Views ok on the terrace though? I saw that corner spot on the highlights but also looked rammed & hard to see that end of the game.

Might have to play it safe in the seats.

I'd definitely suggest the seats with a little one. The view in the terrace for an adult isn't that bad. Its just a very poorly designed terrace in that you can't easily get in or out of it despite there being a gap of at the front on the pitch side, you can't walk up and down it. Just a bottle neck of a gap in the crush barriers at the back to get into. Not great I would imagine if you're a kid who needs a drink, toilet etc. And probably not a nice experience having a few hundred people side step past you standing on your toes to get in and out at HT. I know it was pissing me off.

I won't add to the comments above about the away terrace because, fairly obviously, I don't stand there. The longer term plan is to house away fans behind the goal in the new stand once it's built (assuming it gets built) - hopefully it'll be a much better experience!

I sat in the corner of the main stand for one game a couple of years ago and the view was fine, even of the far goal. You could risk sitting in the middle but expect to be asked to move if you cheer too loudly when Barnet inevitably score a hatful.

You should be fine using the shuttle bus. I haven't used it but I believe you pay the driver. If you want a taxi then there's sometimes one or two outside the train station but alternatively I'd recommend using Acorn on 01205 358358. If you end up walking, be aware that the very last bit of the A16 is unpaved and (in my view) pretty dangerous. Better to divert down London Road and then Tytton Lane East so that you can cross the A16 at traffic lights, albeit that will take you 5-10 minutes longer.

What is car parking like for visitors near the ground? Is there some street-parking nearby?

The car park at the ground is unfortunately for home fans only at the moment. There's a check as you enter, and you'll be turned around if you're not on the list. There's a Costa Coffee and a Burger King right by the entrance which both have car parks but I couldn't tell you the restrictions.

If you head away from the ground, over the roundabout, down Wallace Way and right (north), there is normally street parking. The club does get the occasional complaint so please be considerate! Tytton Lane East is another option nearby. Further south on the A16 is the Wyberton Social Club. A mate of mine parks down there and he tells me there's normally plenty of space available.

First visit to Maidenhead in daylight tomorrow. We must have been given more tickets as we sold out last year and had been given 800.
We've sold that many so far and tickets in the away end still being advertised as available.

Just got this from the club about our trophy qf tie away at Sittingbourne :-

"Following a health and safety assessment, The Staxson Stadium’s capacity has been limited to 1300 and we can now confirm that we have been given an allocation of 195 tickets for our Isuzu FA Trophy Quarter-Final at Sittingbourne, in line with FA rules."

Apparently the 1000 season ticket holders are going into a ballot for the tickets.

Odds are that me and my 5 mates who hold season tickets will get one between us. Great.

Does that include the 30 or so who bought seat tickets?
