I see your point. We didn't mark Beckford and Reid was too quick for our make-shift full back (who didn't need to dive in, Nathan Clarke was covering). Everything else seemed way off target. As for us, there's a lot of work to do.

Preston will be kicking themselves. Had a lot of chances but kept electing to shoot from distance. We didn't have many chances but took two to snatch a draw.

We will need to play better to stay up, and Preston will need to play better to go up.

Pleasantly surprised with tonight. Great point for us and apart from the last 20 minutes of the first half I thought we held our own against Preston despite us missing most of our key men.

Big fan of Plasmati, we controlled a lot more of the game when he came on as the balls were sticking or we were picking up the second ball a lot more. Dagnall once again superb, MOM for me and pleased he got it. Very positive for the future if we can get our key men Cox, Vincelot and Simpson back, hopefully McAnuff can finally show us his class too.

I really hope Baudry stays and starts playing though, he's class and should be starting ahead of Clarke for me.

Midfield was non-existent though and really not a fan of Josh Wright, he just flatters to deceive with some long balls and takes ages getting the ball away.

That was terrible from us. But at least Grayson has acknowledged it. Some really below par performances. Most players didn't look interested or want it enough. Even Buchanan was terrible, and you usually get a solid committed performance from him. In general though, we desperately need two new central midfielders. I'd loan Brownhill out and hopefully he'll come back a revitalised player. I can see what Bristol City fans were on about with Kilkenny now. He's been woeful of late. Orient came and did what they had to do. Won the midfield battle with that diamond formation, and were much more clinical. Nowhere near the worst team I've seen come to Deepdale this season, but they really need to improve their defence, especially the defending of set pieces.

Saw Orient at the Lane earlier this season and the Blades absolutely battered you, if it had been boxing ref would have stopped the fight. Orient had 2 chances and scored both. That's football. Result 2-2. Any of you O's fans there that day ?

Preston at the Lane last week, agricultural football and all long ball, They were dirty as well.

I think the whole of league One knows how Clough sets up Sheff Utd, it's all about domination and they are good at it. Rope-a-dope is the answer to counter it, it's a poorly kept secret but I'm not sure Nigel knows it.

Actually that result was more down to rank bad finishing on the Blades part missed open goals etc than to some Mohammed Ali master plan. Were you there ?

Couldnt make it bud as i ended up giving a lift for a few mates just before the game so only went the pub after the game, try any decent ales?

As for the game, we need a midfielder, not a ****ing goalkeeper grayson.

God knows how you didn't control the midfield area, you really didn't look like a team pushing for promotion. We had all four of our starting midfielders injured and we still edged possession (51% ) . Just a bit of a shit game and I didn't see too much between the sides apart from the last 25 minutes of the first half

The irony. Oh the irony. The way your players were rolling around on the floor wasting time was embarrassing. The ref fell for it though and won you the game. We didn't deserve the win last week, but neither did you. We didn't deserve the win this week either but you weren't any better than Orient were on Friday. And agricultural football and long ball? Look yourselves in the mirror.
