Let's get this shit fest started now Hello to the fans of Swansea, Watford, palace , bournemouth , sunderland and fellow albion.. We welcome back Hull and Burnley and welcome Boro! Thank fook we don't have to see kieranshakiri and the villa lot next season.. Will be a long season for everyone again but a good summer transfer wondow is needed for most of us. Here's hoping we won't be involved in the thread like the past few years, would be good if we was the surprise package who am I kidding? Hull straight back down to be joined with Watford & Bournemouth I hope
This thread was irrelevant to us after about 3 months. It just became something to laugh at and I can see that it has started in the same vain with meggo's predictions. Way too soon to predict anything given we have a whole summer of transfer activity ahead of us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
having finally got rid of Villa who's next? Sunderland should be no where near relegation unless the sack Sam after 5 games, or he takes over from Woy
sunderland have cheated death for what...3 seasons now? sadly cant see them drop under Sam. I guess this will be a fun place for the next 12 months though
I like how it's always WBA fans who start this thread every season. Must be fun being a Baggies fan, a real sense of optimism surrounding the whole club Personally hope Boro stay up. No idea about who might finish where. As for my club we were rubbish for half the season yet finished 13th so I'm no so concerned
Not being arrogant but i'm not expecting to be posting in here too much next season with the big man at the helm, not regarding my own team anyway. I think i have good reason as well. Sam never been relegated and kept us up last year with arguably the worst team we've survived with over the last 3/4 relegation battles. Hoping the bent nosed geordie umpa-lumpa goes straight back to his rightful level, apart from that couldn't really say who else could be involved in the battle.
We hopefully should be more stable next season now the Manager situation is resolved. if we can get Bony and Joe Allen signed as reported we should be a stronger unit if we can also keep hold of Ayew and Siggy.
Would love to say that we are not going to be involved in a relegation battle, sadly, I think we will be down there majority, if not all of the season. Bruce hasn't even decided that he is staying with us yet, plus we have such a tough start too the season. Some may disagree, but I think Southampton could struggle this season after losing Koeman.
You will be in this thread as much as the other 12 candidates for the drop - Unless you will be a top 7/8 side which is extremely unlikely .. admire your optimism though.
It won't take much to send "Crackers Karanka" into meltdown, so my favourites for the drop are Middlesbrough.....they barely stumbled over the promotion finishing line and Cranky's nerves were shot to pieces in the last few games....imagine what being in the PL bottom six will do to his fragile and ever-so-suspect Latin temperament. Aside from this, Burnley plus one or two of about 8/9 teams could be in big danger of the drop. West Brom always struggle to score goals and their ancient defence cannot come to the rescue time and time again, can it?
Wait, so teams below 7/8th place are in a relegation battle? You cant just be a comfortable mid-table side, not good enough to be in the top 7/8 but better then the bottom 6 or 7? I thought you would understand that concept, being a Swansea fan
There's no way, surely, that we can suffer the injuries we did last season again? And have to juggle around players and systems all season to fill in the gaps again? Having managed to stay up and fairly comfortably despite all that chaos, it would be disappointing to have more stability yet a worse season this time. But I'm sure the standard at the bottom will be better without Villa gifting everyone 3 points and without the basket cases that Newcastle and despite staying up Sunderland were for long stretches. Get Callum Wilson and Max Gradel fully fit and integrated with all our other attacking options, I think we'll score goals. So far this summer we've spent the grand total of 750k on two youngsters, we assume Howe has some more established players up his sleeve. Otherwise we wouldn't have sold Elphick.
We were in the bottom 3 in January and Palace were well top half back end of 2015. Both clubs were on this thread for many months over the season. To think your going from 4th bottom to prem safety without dipping your toes in the relegation thread is a bit unrealistic.
Sunderland will be the same as usual. In and around the bottom 3 until right at the end, where they get out. It's what Sunderland do, Big Sam or not.
People have said that every season since we've come back up, every season we've finished a position higher...
