Well Robson has publically blasted Solano several times over his return to international football and so it has led me to think that maybe Robson would be tempted to offload him if someone came in with a decent price. Deportivo have supposedly offered £7m for him and with the way things are going i wouldnt be totally surprised if we sold him
Na we will hold out for 10! I personally back Robson, if Nobby agreed to stay he should stick by his word! I hope we dont sell him cos he is world class! If we do have to sell him we should try and get 7 plus Helder then go buy another Robert for the right and we are sorted!
According to SkySportsNews Barcelona are interested in Solano. I still can't help thinking that Robson's got a bit of a cheek to tell Solano he can't play for Peru ... especially as an ex-international manager himself!
Yeah RG - does seem a bit hypocritical indeed! And I don't rate Solano in the £10m bracket even in this day of mega bucks transfer figures. £7m maybe.......
He is easily worth 10 mill plus! He has the second best right foot in the prem, hes fast can skin people, links up play well, and can shoot (except for last week aparantly!) and he is a goos free kick specialist! If lampard is worth 12 then how much is sol worth!! Also, the fact Bobby is criticising Nobby is he said he would stay i Newcastle instead of fuc*in off to south america every 5 mins and as a result we gave him an improved contract! So basically what sol has done is used the situation to make more money then gone back on his word! I just wish we cud put him back on his orriginal wages and see what decision he makes then!
Exactly, people are having a go at Robson calling him a hypocrite and such without knowing what happened. NUFC.com summed it up nicely in a picture, showing Nobby celebrating the spurs away goal with a caption "Thanks for the dosh, I love you, I'm off now, ta"
