Hello amigos. I'm looking to buy Arsenal tickets for my Gunner supporting girlfriend as a surprise. Was looking at the Man City home game in February (valentines sorted). Having looked at your website it looks like if I want to make this happen i'll need to purchase two memberships before I can even think about buying the tickets...is this right? Am I dreaming in wanting to get tickets for this game? Should I look at a different one? If I am able to get in and get tickets, which area of the ground is usually the "home" end with the most chanting (she's rowdier than me). Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, you do need to be a red member to purchase a ticket. On top of that, you won't be able to get a ticket until a month before the game and it's super competitive. The tickets that get released to red members tend to be littered around the stadium. PL games rarely, if ever, get released to general admission. And a big factor in that is how apathetic the fanbase is at the time but we're top of the league right now so you've got no chance of tickets going to general admission. What I can suggest as a compromise is we play Juventus in a friendly on the 17th of December. I know it's absolutely nothing compared to a competitive game but beggers can't be choosers. In the future, keep an eye out for Carabao Cup matches as well. They go to general admission, cheap too.
