I made this because apparently there's a 90% chance the heat record in this country will be broken and we will surpass 40C at least next Tuesday 30C on Monday was bad enough I don't know how I'll be coping
Saying 37C for my location on Tuesday and that's in the center of the country nowhere near the hottest spots in the South East. There is at least a decent chance
It won't hit 40 in Paris so fail to see how it can get this hot in England. That's Toulouse territory.
I will be sitting on my sun lounger with my shirt off, shades on and drinking gin and bitter lemon with my earphones in listening to Pink Floyd after getting stoned in my flat before i venture outside,i'm living the dream.
I was due a train trip on Tuesday but work have been great & I've swapped for Thursday now & work Tuesday instead in our giant tin can , thankfully am only 7-11 next week so miss the real afternoon heat .
Was in Toulouse a few years ago and it was 35 degrees in September. Glorious weather and lovely city. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I played a work golf week in Toulouse 15 years ago or so it was 40 odd degrees then Like playing on concrete.
I read somewhere the other day, the record temperature recorded in Singapore is 37 degrees, which is lower than the UK's record. However, the lowest temperature recorded there is 19 degrees.
Says 40-41 with a red warning potentially in some places peaking on Tuesday but 23 on Thursday . Don't forget if you have any photos of elderly people struggling in the heat to send them in to your local news broadcasters , they'd love to see them , sadists .
