ahh i see. but i was just putting our 2nd string team up - as joking that all our first 11 would get injured all at once - maybe i should shut up after the Nasri incident :(

To be fair though its probably more accuarate doing it that way.

    Almunia

    Toure Vermaillon Djourou Clichy

    Walcott Song Denilson Traore

    Arshavin Bendtner

Will probably be the most used team this year.

I'm afraid you'll be right

But I would like to think that Nasri, Eduardo and Fabregas will replace Denilson, Bendtner and Traore - Hopefully last year was just a blip for Cesc and he'll be back to his brilliant everpresent best. And once Nasri recovers from his break hopefully he'll come clean. These 3 can't be classified as consistent crocks yet and hopefully this season will shed those rumors for sure.

On the other hand guys like Gallas, van Persie and Rosicky will each all miss around 5-10 Premier League games methinks

Because apart from last season, he's been very injury prone?

hmmmmm, let me see. apart from being an Arsenal player, he's already quite injury prone. so, shin splints, broken toe, tooth ache, broken wrist, knee, calf, hamstring, back, chest, stomach, cold, flu, foot. think i've covered most things. furthermore, RVP is quite likely to get yellow/red cards!

so basically, any Arsenal player with a temper is ****ed!

    Almunia
    Sagna Vermaelen Gallas Clichy
    Walcott Song Cesc Arshavin
    Eduardo/Rvp

Expecting to see Arshavin pushed forward centrally a lot though and presumably plenty of rotation between himself, Eduardo and van Persie depending on fitness. I expect a good season from Bendtner and he holds a trump card as he's now our physical striker and thus will demand a place in many situations even if he aint as good at football as the other three.

    Reserve options:

    Fabianski
    Gallas Djourou Panface Gibbs
    Ramsey Diaby Den Traore
    Vela Simpson

by the looks of things in pre-season i think Wenger may opt for a 4-3-3 style formation

    Almunia
    Sagna Vermaelen Gallas Clichy
    Song Cesc Denilson
    Walcott Bendtner Arshavin/Rvp

Has Walcott played any pre-season games?

Have had to re-think the team:

    ..............Almunia................
    Sagna Gallas Vermaelen Clichy
    .........Fabregas Song............
    ..............Arshavin..............
    RVP.........................Eduardo
    ..............Bendtner..............

I wouldn't mind that. Fabregas can sit deep where he enjoys it, Arshavin can play through the middle where he likes it, then you have RVP and Eduardo coming in from the flanks to support Bendtner.

    Could work...

I don't think accomodating Arshavin and RVP upfront together in a 442 is going to work. If we do play a 4-3-3 style I would like...

    ------------------Almunia---------------

    ------Sagna---Gallas---Vermaelen---Clichy

    --------------------Song------------------

    ---------- Fabregas------Rosicky/Nasri----

    ----Van Persie------Eduardo-------Arshavin

Both Rosicky and Nasri can play that central midfield role quite easily. For 4-4-2 stick Arshavin on the left wing and maybe bring in Walcott for Rosicky/Nasri.

    2nd team:

    --------------------Fabianski---------------

    ------Eboue----Djourou---Senderos---Gibbs

    ----------------------Denilson-----------------

    ---------- Diaby/Ramsey-----Rosicky/Nasri

    ----Walcott---------Bentdner-------Vela------

In an ideal world I'd like to sell Silvestre and bring in a better defender. Keeping Eboue is paramount and just 1 more signing for the central midfield would to my mind would give us a good squad.

Do you think Eduardo will be a main feature this season, considering him for my dream team? Wiltshire also has more natural ability than Gerrard!

If he stays fit he will be a focal point of our team.

Its not hard to have more natural ability than Steven 30 shots a game Gerrard.
