I’m fairly confident he’d have saved the free kick from damsgaard. The save from maguire was a worldly

As good as he’s been, I’d still have spinazzola there.

Spinnazolla has been better, and has been an integral part of the Italian side, but his injury may give it to Shaw, who has also been excellent, especially in the knockouts.

I'm not sure anyone going out in the 2nd round really deserves to be in a team of the tournament unless they were ridiculously outstanding over the four games they played.

    I'd go...

    Schmeical

Maehle (more of a wing-back but there you go)
    Maguire
    Chiellini
    Shaw

    Jorginho
    Pedri
    Barella

    Schick
    Kane
    Sterling

Player of the tournament: Sterling - 3 goals plus another had a defender not bundled it in, won a penalty, got an assist too and just generally has been outstanding.

    Donnarumma
    Mæhle, Maguire, Chiellini, Spinazzola
    Højbjerg, Jorginho, Pedri
    Sterling, Schick, Damsgaard
Not sure who I'd have for Player of the Tourmanent. Either Damsgaard or Pedri for Young PotT
Reckon Kane might be both team and PotT candidate after the final.

I thought it was universally known that the quick thinking English referee potentially saved Erikson's life .

I was reading the posts on the first page and wondering where the hell is Maehle. Thanks for mentioning him. He had been immense and Denmark's best player IMO. Definitely had a stronger showing than Dumfries.

    Schmeichel
    Maehle Chiellini Maguire Shaw
    Barella Jorginho Pedri
    Chiesa Schick Sterling
With the exception of Schick who went out in the quarters, the rest of the team are from the last 4. Sounds about right.
Player of the tournament - Maguire or Sterling. Sterling has been the most outstanding attacker, while Maguire has been faultless in this comp and England's most important player IMO. I guess whoever performs better in the final should have the sway.

Coach of the tournament - Split between Mancini or Southgate. Again, whichever team wins the final will tilt in their favour.

Flop of the tournament - Mbappe

Kjaer cleared his airways and put him in the recovery position.

Should win player of the tournament for that alone (not to mention captaining his team to the semi-finals).

Still tried copping off with his wife with Schmeichell trying to join in & it wasn't even past the 9pm watershed :D

Joking aside , it takes a mentally strong person to carry on playing an hour after .

Pedri has been the best midfielder at the tournament imo other than that a decent team.

I'd like to wait until after the final but I'm fairly certain Busquets would be in my team.

To be honest, it really does depend on the final. I've put more Italians down in the team as I think they've been the best side up until now, but that'll have to change if England win on Sunday.

    As it stands though:

    Schmeichel
    Dumfries - Stones - Chiellini - Spinazzola
    Barrella - Jorginho - Pedri
    Sterling - Schick - Insigne
