Lol you’re taking this literally, yes cars are these landers aren’t. Just a quick question would you fly on a pilotless plane?

First if you compare through investment then and now the actual levels being put in are peanuts now.

The USA basically spent an absolutely fortune on that development.

Second the moon's gravity is 1/6th that of the earth.

Third there's no atmosphere to trouble that lander in ascent or descent.

Fourth they had many other issues and deaths of the ground and otherwise with the lunar program working on the technology and trips round the moon

The fact they got 6 there and back after all that investment and trials to dock and orbit and launch and return it's not thst shocking.

Gus grissom would say it was not without danger.

If you've watched appollo 22 documentary and seen then manually flying the type of lander with thrusters on earth you can see it was reasonably possible to do so without computers.

The fact people flew jets and rocket planes without computers just shows how possible doing all the calculations required is.

Anyway. The lunar buggy.https://www.quora.com/Where-was-the...ere the lunar rovers, descent stage of the LEM.

This is a simple enough answer. Again 1/6th gravity helps a lot and its perfectly possible to flat pack it lol.

The Soviets landed a rover on Venus in 1975. Only 6 years after the moon landing and on a planet much further away with an atmosphere full of sulphur, acid and high temperatures to contend with. I know the moon landing had humans on but imo the Venus landing was much harder and nobody ever questions it. Haha

The diameter of the sun is a few light seconds.

The Northern Lights are pretty clear to see here at the moment if you look straight up towards the Plough.

As it gets darker more and more is becoming visible without a camera. I can see the green clear as day now if I look north.

I had friends who only live 10 mins away seeing it easily. Whereas me, absolutely nothing. Weird, and frustrating.

I didn’t know the northern lights were going to be visible ! I wish I did as I would have stayed up as I’ve never seen the lights before.
