The oil sheikh didn't get to be despotic billionaires by throwing away money. Every city and psg owners are doing is done to promote image and other businesses. The saudis are buying up sports for busienss reasons. They probably got a sweet deal off cashley that was a bargain compared to what buying west ham would have been.

According to that finance expert Stefan Borson on Talksport, the 200m 777 have put into Everton is all unsecured.
I would hazard a guess at 777 raiding their other clubs to come up with that last 16mil loan. The premier league must deny these or the fit and proper test needs to be deleted.
I shouldn't say delete I suppose. I should say make a proper regulation. For me if the tories are not posturing to look good then any football regulator should first have actual football regulations to enforce and number 1 and most critical is ownership. English football clubs imo should not be on the New York stock exchange. English football should have a rule that if you want to own an English club that's the only club you own.
