I know Paul Scully has been highly critical of the Conservative campaign in London, no doubt influenced at least in part by his disappointment at being overlooked as his party's mayoral candidate, but he would have been a far more serious opponent for Sadiq Khan than Susan Hall will ever be. Even without considering some of her more unpleasant activities, her "pickpocket" interviews with LBC's Nick Ferrari would have been a career-ending car crash for many other, far more capable, politicians.
I am becoming sus about the polling, not only does Starmer need to get a BIGGER swing than Blair did in 97 to win a majority, he has to do so whilst having lost the left and increasingly looking like losing the Muslim vote I really hope we don't get a hung parliament, literally worst case scenario, would rather have 5 more years of the traitors 'in power' than that, but it looks most likely scenario to me.
He's made loads of them recently, whether he believes it or it's trolling doesn't matter, the admins should've banned him from CA because it looks really f*cking shit having overt racism on here
How? This is reality there are many Muslims walking turning away from Labour due to how Labour has been over the Gaza issue. I really don't see how this is controversial
It isn't, some people just see racism everywhere, I mean are these people racist against themselves? Labour and Conservatives losing the Muslim vote
context is everything, when a muslim group talks about a shift in the muslim vote no one has any objections. When someone who's been talking about " the great replacement theory" and making comments about muslims and immigrants taking over the uk it takes on a very different meaning. In the case of @RedDevilsShinja he's been subtly and unsubtly dropping in racism to his posts more frequently recently, so it's fair to assume this comment was racially motivated
So if a muslim says the christian vote or a black person says the white vote you would say that is racist? because i certainly wouldn't. RDS is a mong but certainly nothing wrong with that post he did.
Again it's context, if a muslim group who were openly aggressive to a.n other religion explicitly called out their religion to make a point I would assume bigotry, if it was one with no context or history of aggression or bigotry i'd assume none. RDS has consistently shown "dog whistle" language, because of the use of that language I'm far more inclined to assume there's a racist context to it. On the flip side if someone like yourself or most others on here said it i'd assume no bigotry, because historically you've never shown any inclination towards far right or racism. As i said it's context that makes me wary, not content
So you're saying you're more interested in the author of a post rather than the content? I think it's fair to say that the "Muslim vote" is a valid topical reference given Starmer's apparent indifference to the genocide being perpetrated in Gaza. Indeed when Galloway recently won the vacant Rochdale by-election by a comparative landslide he said: "Keir Starmer, this is for Gaza. You will pay a high price for the role that you have played in enabling, encouraging and covering for the catastrophe presently going on in occupied Gaza, in the Gaza Strip". I have no doubt that the "Muslim" vote was largely responsible for his victory, albeit unopposed by a Labour candidate. ‘This is for Gaza’ – George Galloway by-election victory speech | ITV News
Yes exactly that, he's now got a proven track record of making snide remarks about people based on their religion or ethnicity, therefore i wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this was thinly veiled and not so well hidden racism. Again as an example if Starmer talked of the Muslim vote none of us would even think about racism, if Tommy Robinson said the same words...
Bearing in mind the council losses that Labour also suffered in that neck of the woods last Thursday, it seems to me to be foolish not to take the difficulty that Labour appears to have got itself into with Muslim voters seriously. Certainly, Starmer's language in calling for a ceasefire earlier this week appeared a lot stronger than we've seen previously.
The wording is quite worrying I don't understand how you can work out how any race can be classed in one way George Galloway as your back up?
How on earth is it worrying? All I'm saying is that they're risking a significant part of their base because of Gaza https://religionmediacentre.org.uk/...ow-faith-communities-vote-in-UK-elections.pdf Labour’s Muslim vote: what the data so far says about the election risk of Keir Starmer’s Gaza position I fail to see how this isn't a significant issue for Labour's election prospects should they lose this support and I really don't understand why you think me saying this is controversial? Does anybody actually think Labour has done well in regards to the Gaza issue? They've had shadow cabinet members chased around and harassed on the streets for their stance on Gaza and Israel ffs.
Because recently you’ve made multiple statements taken directly from the play book of racists. So if it walks like a racists, talks like a racist. Well… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
