2014 FIFA World Cup Fantasy Draft Rules What is a World Cup Fantasy Draft? Every manager (you) will take it in turns picking one player each in a set order. How we will evaluate our players? We will use an online Fantasy Football game that gives points for their perfomances at the World Cup. Here is how points will be rewarded: We will pick players in a snake-draft format. E.g Round One Manager 1 - Chooses a player Manager 2 - Chooses a player Manager 3 - Chooses a player Round Two Manager 3 - Chooses a player Manager 2 - Chooses a player Manager 1 - Chooses a player etc We will be building a team of 11 players. However, there is a limit of ONE PLAYER PER COUNTRY. I.e you won't be able to pick two German's. 11 players, 11 different nationalities. Every manager must build either a 4-4-2, 4-5-1, or 4-3-3 formation. That means four defenders (any combination of LB, RB and CB) four/five/three midfielders (any combination of DM, CM, AM, RM, LM, RW and LW) two/one/three attackers (any combination of CF, SS, RW and LW) For any clarification of a player's position we will use http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/ I.e it would be possible to choose 4 rights backs, 3 defensive midfielders and 3 right wingers in your 4-3-3 formation. Draft Rules 1. Once the first pick has been made, the next manager has a maximum of 10 HOURS to make his pick. If the 10 hour deadline expires, the next manager in the draft order can make his pick. 2. If you think you will be away for over 10 hours remember to leave someone your shortlist to post for you. 3.
