I wouldn't have had too many quibbles with Lovren as a pick. Croatia bombed but they were tipped to do well. We had Mandzukic anyway so I suppose he was never an option. Plus he's Southampton's best player apparently.

 

Who Lovren? Wouldn't say he was our best. That accolade goes to Schniederlin IMO with Lallana close second.
