Flawless victory scum, well-played! Even if we’d got the Frosty and Sgt Serious lynch through we’d still lost, as Sheen and Scunny were planted deep in everyone’s town reads (but I would not call the set up imbalanced even though we were smashed, things just didn’t go our way) some crafty choice of NK actions too Clever set up as always @Zydus , always love your excellent flavour roles
It’s actually a shame the game ended so early as D4 was very painful but very entertaining was looking forward to the next dayphase
I didn't even know it ended yesterday. Guyett got that to my notice, & that's when I realised I should've had made Sheen into a normal serial killer like bomber. To be fair Sheen had an absolute blinder & you lot too were going well. Funnily, Sheen's first choice yesterday was you, before he changed his mind. If he had gone with you, the game would have continued. As for your other question, Frosty's reward was that he could have a one shot of any of the dead player's power for one night, or Sandsy's day power.
Genuinely missed N1 due to wedding but given my role I prob wouldnt have used my power anyway. I didnt mention blocking or the 'my face hurts' aspect so scum would have left me alone. I really should have sent Frosty on himself but I thought he was deathproof while there was a mechanic in play (like Voldemort in Zydus' Harry Potter game). I sent Burg on Sme as I suspected both at that time.
I think knowing TLC had been roleblocked that Scunny's no result on Joga looked questionable. Town certainly would have been looking your way first though. Thanks for running Zydus. Enjoyed the set up and I'm sure on another occasion town would have had more fortune. Out of curiosity, should it have ended when it did? I know it was 3v3 but with my role potentially blocking a kill I was wondering if we could still have swung it back with a correct lynch? Also on a separate note, frustrating to learn that the only thing stopping Frosty's lynch was me asking to claim the day power. If I'd just answered I'd have been in there fractionally quicker than Sgt. I waited, Sgt swooped in and then stopped the lynch
3 v 3 means town would not have the numbers ti force a lynch, the game would be in deadlock and the following night they could kill again.
I love watching the chaos and distraction after the bombs but why on earth did the town not just lynch frost after his flip. it was patently obvious from the flip. even after my flip the rather obvious mafia attempt to set me up as next lynch was actually there too. Sgt and scunny were clearly aligning. I liked tlc's attempt to out Sgt but this is an example of why only telling half the story is not a good plan. People were caught up in her being a doctor not here actual role. why not simply lynch frosty again???
oh.and next time folks, when it's during the day time and someone says they are happy to vote then someone jumps in to do it then turns round and immediately try to scum paint that person who is at work you really ought to spot it. I was in a work thing amd by the time I got out the frosty vote was done. perfectly done there. but town folk need to be seeing the denial of opportunity.
It wasn't clear whether Frosty was deathproof or not, which has been the case in previous games. I don't think town considered it because it was potentially another wasted lynch and Sheen's claim had offered a route for killing Frosty anyway.
Tbh I have no regrets around Frosty (other than hesitating on claiming that day's power). I'm probably more annoyed at letting Sgt off the hook given my suspicions on D2. It was a very good fake claim though and helped by knowing RD had seen Sgt visit Sheen N1.
Yeah, if I’m Town - I’m not going straight back to Frosty. Assuming he has either a bodyguard or Deathproof. It’s not worth the wasted lynch. Particularly with addition day powers up for grabs - a day shot was a likely prize at some point. I remember a game when I was bodyguard for Tomohawk and he got lynched & survived and a few days later Town went back to him (which I helped push) and he didn’t die again and that second wasted lynch won us the game.
Why? What role did we have that would negate deathproof? I saw none up to that point There was no Harry Potter v voldermort here, nor anyone shouting. Surely we lynch what we know not lynch was might be in a 50/50. But if I had my way I'd have insta lynched and missed the tlc v Sgt discussion
How would he be have an unkillable bodyguard? Has there been a game where someone was 100% deathproof as scum? I knew from my role the bomber wasn't going to be killed by me nor hash so he couldn't simply be deathproof.
There have been many games in the past where the mafia leader has a bodyguard. The leader cannot be killed until that player is gone.
OK, thanks for that. that does look then like an assumption for this game as well which then played for the mafia.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing Lugna. Me & Sgt did a good job of confusing matters in the last day phase, we made TLC vs Sgt and RD vs Joga so much of a thing that people didn’t even get chance to consider lynching Frosty again.
Excellent games. Loved the mechanics @Zydus so thank you! Well played @Mr Sheen As soon as i was dead i knew you had it as you was so town read it was unreal!
Yeah well played @Mr Sheen you had me believing that you had a vengeful part of your role, that I was considering using Guyetts power and stealing your vengeful part of your role, to use. It turns out, you didn't even have that so I'm glad that I never went through with what I was thinking
