I'm buying a 206 GTi tommorow, With 50k on the clock, I'll get the pics up tommorow and will be using it for track daying and will be stripping it out

Also does anybody know roughly how heavy air conditioning units weight?

You getting a standard GTI or the GTI 180?

    180's are quick!

No idea on air con units? Try a google or one of the 206 message boards that are dotted about. I never use my air con on mine.

    Standard GTi 140 bhp.

I was just wondering whether it would be worth buying one without if they weight quite alot, But the one im looking at is quite a good price and i certainly dont fancy taking one out myself, But yeah i will check up on some site's :thumb

I have a 206, had a couple of little problems with it but nothing too major.. Most of the 206 range has standard and it does weight a lot!

Nice chocie of car, not been in a GTi but had a quick ride as a passenger in a 180 and it was fast for what it is!

Get yourself over to http://www.206info.co.uk/ForumsPro/ and the Performance section, have a search around for a GSR induction kit, proven gains, highly recommended for that car.

There are some fools on there but also a fair few who are interested in performance side of things, a couple with the GTi as well. Should have no problem getting help :D

    My Mrs drives a 106!!!

Its basically because its all we can afford as cars cost twice as much as they do in the UK.
