So far so good, Have'nt drove it much tbh but everything seems alright and surprised how much torque it has aswell for such a little car, Juicy on the petrol though i have noticed and is surprisingly nippy, Other than that everything seems to be fine :thumb
Nah its quite alright for that actually, But i know what you mean as my old 205 was a dog for that :thumb

    106 Quiksilvers are shit.

It looks exactly the same as mine except mine has the rear spoiler/whatever it's called that I thought all GTI's had:confused

Leather steering wheel and white dials, just like my old Astra, I love it. :thumb

Doing a bit of research i think you'll find yours came with like a sports pack, Which is the grill, trims around the arches and of course the spoiler? Mine has just the upgraded grill as an optional extra.
Yep the little touches like that certainly makes them look/feel better :thumb

I've no idea what it should have come with. When I bought mine it had 16" alloys the spoiler and rather nice sports seats. I'm guessing the alloys aren't standard as I've seen Quiksilvers without them and the alloys are off the GTI.

Also comes with leather steering wheel and white dials;) Actually think they're silver but not sure....

Here's a pic of it, very similar to yours

Ah ok, I presumed you had the Gti, But yeah looks nice and is identical to mine.

So what engine does that have in it?

    1400i 16valve.

Had a 106 Quiksilver which was awful. Looks were ok engine noisy and shoddy interior.

As much as I hate my 206 it's really not that bad a car. I quite fancy a 180. What's the performance like out of your GTI?

The reason the Quickie has the spoiler etc. and the Gt hasn't is as someone said the SP (Sports Pack) Which was spoiler, arch extensions, mesh grilles on the front, metal pedals, morette style headlights and some had rear 'Lexus' lights)

Obviously they all didn't come with the whole pack, more what people wanted as it left the factory :)

Tbh it surprised me and has great power throughout the gears, The close ratio gearbox helps, It sits at 4500 rpm at 95 MPH and the engine is screaming at 100 MPH, Bit like the 205 gti in that respect,So i could only see it doing around 130 MPH but its how quick it gets there, And it also seems to have alot of torque.

    Handle's good too.

I did'nt realise they come with that much stuff, Although i like alot of the stuff the SP offers but the wheel arches look horrid i think, It would look ok though if the wheels were level from the outside, Which of course can be done with wheel spacers.
