Hi all, After 12 hours and 38 minutes, we are back online! Thank you for your patience. However, we're not all the way over the line yet. I have put the board online because I want you to use it, but it will not be performing optimally. I have some more work to do on that tomorrow, since I'm too tired now to do it without making mistakes. It will be relatively slow. You may have issues uploading images, particularly if they need resizing. Searches will at the least be very slow, and may fail entirely. There will be other stuff I haven't thought about yet because it's late. But, basic functionality is back and TLC can't wait for Liverpool fans to pile on after the match this afternoon. As I said earlier on the Facebook post I’m sure reducing the number of posts and images will help speed up performance - deleting the Liverpool forum and all its content would be a bloody good start

Nice to be back online, but I can't seem to upload a picture from my laptop photo album like I did before, when I try, all I get is an error message. ? View attachment upload_2023-8-28_2-59-58.png
Yeah, we'll have some issues uploading images until I can spend more time on the site tomorrow (today!).

Sorry to say it, but I'm still getting big pauses when loading pages sometimes. Maybe it just needs to settle* *28 years as an IT professional was required for this insight.

I reckon the whole forum issue thing was fabricated and deliberately put in place as @TLC predicted what would happen in the Newcastle / Liverpool game. Coincidence the downtime happened when that game was on? I think not.
