Morsy and Luongo should never be regulars in a top two side at this level. McKenna is using cheat codes. FWIW. They were crap at Deepdale until they went longball to Kieffer Moore. Pretty much man for man, you'd expect the Norwich side to be above them.
I thought Ipswich would be a play off rival as, outside the parachute teams, the league is shite. They had impressed in League One. They had momentum and a clear structure that was rather promising. Them being top of the league on 87 points is definitely unexpected, and it's a monumental achievement what they have done with what they have compared to the teams around them. I hope they get the job done from a neutral's perspective.
I said I thought they might win the league in October. They remind me of us in the season we got promoted last. They’re a much better side than people give them credit for Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When we play badly we look really bad, but those occasions have been pretty rare so far this season, it's actually happened when we have been on TV which is concerning as Sky are showing most of our games now. Some of the football i've seen us play this season is possibly the best i've ever seen by an Ipswich team. The Morsy playing in midfield for us now is a completely different player to the one who we signed under Paul Cook. I give all that credit to McKenna he changed his role immediately when he came in and never looked back.
Burgess has actually been our best centre half this year for my money. Both of them are good players for this league. Hutchinson is still in his first season of football and has lots to learn and more physical development to do. Potentially however he has everything to be a very good player, certainly better than Sainz and Sara although I’ve been very impressed by Rowe from the little I’ve seen. Edit: Don’t forget the goalie either. Very good player, excellent with ball at feet and shot stopping. Team have plan B shocker. Exactly why we have a big target man to break down defensive cloggers such as yourselves
The strides forward I've seen from Sainz in the last few months have been pretty incredible. Whilst he's obviously a different style of player to Buendia there's been a feeling around here than like Buendia, once he got his temper in check there would be a real top Championship player here, and he seems to have done that. I actually think he has a higher ceiling than Rowe. They're very different styles of winger to be fair. I think I actually said something similar around the time we went you your place. If we were going to be challenging by the Carrow Road fixture then Sainz would be playing a key role.
