Eh The Glazers are from Manchester then right? And besides that, Man Utd have always bought players for crazy money from other clubs! What's any difference between a Russian spending 30 million on a plyer, and an Englishman spending 30 million on a player? It's still "buying success"...
Does anyone actually really know whether Ferguson wants him or not yet? I think he has someone else lined up.
You reckon? If they money and wages on offer is ridiculous enough, he will make the move. Just like they all did for Chelski back in 2003.
look at the facts...saha has gone campbell looks like he may go (he isnt good enough to be a permanant striker at premier league level) thats leaves man united with a below par rooney and carlos tevez..city bid for berbatov about an hour ago..man united havent came out and said/done anything about it.either they are really really confident he will sign for united or they are bidding for somebody else
Have Utd actually put a bid in for him and has it been accepted by Spurs? If not he won't be going to Utd. Whether he agrees to join City is another matter but we have had a bid accepted by Spurs. Seems pretty simple to me.
If Berbatov joins us can you imagine the fury of Sir Alex,Would love to be a fly on the wall,Loving this,Although even if we offered much higher wages (which we easily could)i dont think he would want to join us rather than United,Stranger things have happened in football though,You never know.
It's clear you're enjoying taking your ABU pot-shots. The Glazers, how much of their OWN money do you really think they've provided for us? You know any money that doesn't get added on top of our debt? If you want to put it that way, then every single football club in the world is trying to do that.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=566792&sec=europe&&cc=5739 That's why David Villa will not be joining ANY club this transfer window.
Hughes will know that its Berbatov's dream to join United and when they put in their successful bis he will clearly join them,So shouldnt we be concentrating on bidding for somebody else?Maybe we are.
Theres a limit to what Ashley is prepared to spend I guess, Abramovich has spent a lot more on players because he's supposedly more than five times richer than Ashley, as for manyoo, their turnover is over three times that of Newcastle, they were a massive, rich club with a great sqaud of players before Glazer pitched up, it will be good for English football if several clubs can challenge manyoo's spending power, only a manyoo fan would disagree.
