If we get promoted I don't care who takes us there to be honest, hopefully he will do that whilst playing good football aswell.

Bryan Robson? I personally think his just a big name, than that of a big manager. Sadly, he is the wrong choice of appointment.

Take a look at his management record: -

    Middlesbrough 1994-2001 : Win percentage: 40%
    Bradford 2003-2004: Win percentage: 25%
    West Brom 2004-2006 : Win percentage: 23%

Good Luck Blades, you will need it!!!

Robson is a bad manager. I agree with Tuborg, you might as well have got Souness.

Anyone who says we will regret letting warnock go wan'ts shooting all he did last season was f*ck us up big time althought saying that he had done an excellent job before the premiership season it was just a level too much for warnock.

I thought warnock deserved his shot at the prem , but in retrospect was a big risk , next time well be better prepared
the mid season buys were of no use at all , buying prospects was not what was needed, theres a good chance of a quick return due to the money , and mistakes made this season can be eradicated

How is Robson going to better prepare you for the Premiership?, he is the worst premiership manager of his generation

we aren't in the premiership, so that isn't even relevant, and won't be until we get promoted again.

And he isn't the worst premiership manager of his generation at all.

No offense but that's your chances of going straight back into the premiership gone. Sheffield could attract better manager's than him but suppose we can't judge him yet until we have seen him in action with your lot.

My biggest fear with Warnock going was the Robbo would break up the core of the team - which we've had for a good 5 years, and bring in his own men.

Read and listening to what he has already said 'fine tuning' and 'quality over quantity' it sound pritty good.

I was nervous about apointing him, but seeing him yesterday and now that he is part of our club, I am feeling causously optomistic.

Hopefully Kidd will have a lot more input now hes steped up a level and he should know the side well enough to advise Robbo to get rid of the likes of Lump-of-wood, CKR, Bromby etc.

    Welcome to BDTBL Robbo,

    Up the Blades

PS does anyone else think a massive fall out has gone on with McCabe and NW? Theres been a lot of back stabing recently, maybe it was McCabe that brought in Kidd, maybe the NW new contract at the end of the season was a smole screen and maybe he always planed for Warnock at the end of the season.

Ok , go and ask yourself how much Robson spent at boro and then ask yourself if he should of relegated them and then he spent some more and the boro had to bring in El Tel to save them....sorry but he is a championship manager at best , i actually like bryan robson purely for his footballing abillity as a player but he is like Graeme Souness when it comes to managing , great player totally shite manager....

Sheff Utd board have obviously appointed him beacause he can get them back in the prem but from there is where it all goes pear shaped.

Even if you gave him a Squillion $$$ to spend I dont think he is capable of success in the premiership.

I reckon CKR will be fairly decent in the Championship.

We will get a clearer picture once Robbo has been here for a while, sometimes a players face just doesen't fit, just because Warnock thought certain players were good that doesen't mean Robson will see it the same way.

I think CKR is incredibly talented and i really don't understand why so many blades don't like him, his end product isn't there, but neither was Cristiano Ronaldo's when he was his age, and look at him now.

Bromby and leigertwood(sp?) can go though, not good enough.

Robson spent squillions at Boro and still got them relegated ,

Correct if I am wrong but i think Robson has been relegated from the premiership 3 times .......
