Chelsea 0 v Arsenal 4 If Thomas Tuchel wants a committed performance, why does he keep playing squad members who want a move away? It's asking for trouble. Players like Azpilicueta, Alonso, Werner and others should not be playing. If Conte or Arteta had them, they would probably be separated from the rest of the squad. Latest is that Kante won't sign an extension to his contract, so he's another who needs to be sold, to avoid yet another top player walking away for free. Kounde is yet another player who wants to be playing less physical football in Spain, and the club will need to more quickly for an alternative top quality defender. Lastly, Chalobah is now costing the club a goal a game. Another player affected by the transfer speculation? He can also cover in midfield, but needs to cut out the mistakes if he's going to have a long term future at the club. A lot of work for Thomas and the club to do if they are going to compete next season.
Chelsea 2 v Tottenham 2 Chelsea deserved to win, and the hair pulling was off the scale, but there are warning signs going forward. No recognised striker, and Jorghino looking more and more vulnerable. Not sure that De Jong would like the physicality of the PL, but Jorghino should definitely be sold back to Italy. More and more crucial, game changing mistakes creeping in. Overall though, the team played very well. Many positives.

Zakharyan would be a good acquisition, and Chalobah can play deep midfield. He'd be a better choice than Gallagher who just isn't used to playing that deep, and Tuchel should know that. Fofana is a must, although Aubameyang looks doubtful now. Zaha would be a good choice instead. Sterling, Havertz and Zaha rotating? That could be a genuine challenge for the PL.
Southampton 2 v Chelsea 1 Another terrible performance, and worrying signs ahead. It started last season, but now Havertz has given up altogether. He just does not want to compete in the PL, and why Tuchel picks him every game is a mystery. The midfield is full of holes, and the team looks very disjointed. Given his private life problems as well, will Tuchel survive? A big positive was Broja who looked strong and keen. He has to take Havertz's place now surely.
Chelsea 2 v West Ham 1 Tuchel is creating many of his own problems starting Pulisic ahead of Broja. It was clear 2 years ago that like Werner, Pulisic is not suited to the fast, physical PL. Auba should make a difference.
