What ever happened to Hamburg? A great team once upon a time, heard they just about stayed in BL by the skin of their teeth last season?

Looks like Dortmund finally got themselves a proper investor.

    http://www.euronews.com/sport/2572696-borussia-dortmund-wins-sponsor-evonik-as-investor/

Bild says Evonik is buying a 9% share and the whole thing is apparently worth 350 mio Euro altogether. And more investors are to follow shortly.

    Happy days for them.

The cup game is live on ARD or ZDF if you can get a live stream.

It looks increasingly like as if Kroos is going to Real Madrid this summer. Marca claims that the deal is done and SZ are saying they know for a fact that Kroos is in talks with them.
Kroos himself hasn`t denied contact but said that no final decision has been made. (Yes sure whatever)

Makes me sad to lose a homegrown player of his stature, but what can you do. But it`s better to sell him now than to see him go next summer for nothing. The money is there to find a replacement. It also almost certainly means that Schweinsteiger won`t go anywhere and will remain a `one club man`.

Yes. I am just not sure if Real really needs him. They have Modric, Isco and others already. Seeing that he seems to want a move, I would rather have seen him with you tbh.

Now today of course there is an interview with Kroos in TZ (local Munich newspaper), where he again doesn`t deny contact to Real, but says that he definitely has not made his mind up yet. Says that it is just as possible that he`ll stay.

I wouldn't mind him going to Madrid tbh, they're a team i follow and he's a player i admire. If he's not going to sign a new contract, it'd be better to cash in on him now.

Bild and TZ both say that Kroos to Madrid is a done deal. He is going to earn 12 Mio Euro (before tax). Madrid and Bayern have not agreed a transfer fee yet. Madrid offers 25 Mio. Bayern wants 30 Mio. Will meet somewhere in the middle.

    Bayern get Lewandowski
    Atletico get Mandzukic
    Chelsea get Costa

Good move for all 3, everyone wins but Dortmund.

Yes, even though there is only one year left on his contract, if he was in the PL or La Liga, with his quality, he`d still cost more than 25 mio in todays madness.
