It's a job. If a rival firm offers me more money and success I'll join them and f##k the previous firm, so would anyone else.

We just see things a little different so, it's not comparable to a regular job and we both know that, it's a silly comparison

Out of interest how did you feel when Ballack left on a free to Chelsea? Dortmund done a lot more for Lewandowski than Bayern done for Ballack, and Ballack didn't go to a rival, I'm sure you were a little disappointed no?

A - You can't expect players to be loyal to a club, they aren't fans.

B - I was never a big fan of Ballack tbh. Was much more p#ssed off when Kohler, Effenberg or Matthäus left.

Kohler and Matthaus were before my time and I only remember Effenburg at the end of his career when I was a kid so I can't really comment on those deals

Like I said though we just see it different, If I was at a team that I had no affiliation with, let's say Atletico Madrid for example and and had the success that Lewandowski had with Dortmund I'd never sign for Real,

Interesting comparison of the top leagues, showing that all have been dominated by one club at least at some time in the last decade :

It's not the dominance people are moaning about, it's poaching of your closest rivals best players to enhance that dominance, something none of the teams who've dominated in other leagues in the last decade have done, the closest would probably be Pirlo to Juventus, who AC let go on a free at their own will, unlike Lewandowski for example

We didn't "poach" Lewandowski ffs, he was out of contract and leaving anyway, are you seriously saying we should have stood by and let him go to Spain ?

And what about Man city buying half the Arsenal team, Man utd taking van Persie, Chelsea taking Torres, or doesn't that count ? You get the best players from the best clubs and it's not our job to keep Dortmund strong.

I couldn't care less where we get our players from and aren't unduly bothered about it upsetting other people, as long as it's legal and gets us to the last four of the CL every year.

Lewandowski agreed to sign for Bayern around November before he moved in May/June, he was poached let's be real here, I also doubt there was actual interest from Spain at the time, Barca most likely weren't interested and Perez has always wanted Benzema as his 9, especially at that time

United too Van Persie off Arsenal in 4th - Not a real title rival at the time

Chelsea took Torres off Liverpool - Hardly competing for titles around then

Man City ware special circumstances and still signed no one off the team who were really competing for the title at the time ie United and Chelsea, they poached from Arsenal, who like I said, weren't competing

Basically what I'm saying is in the premier league those transfers were the same as Bayern buying off Schalke or the likes

Great decision to sell and worked out great for you

Like I said though it wasn't a Bayern/Dortmund type situation where you and Chelsea were easily 1/2 in the prem

It's says it all when Dortmund had won 2 leagues and a cup in the two previous seasons and were in a champions league final the current year and they still couldn't keep their players from Bayern (before the final was even played at that) It's not Bayern's problem really, but when that's the case what chance do you have

That was also especially scummy from Bayern, Bullied Dortmund with the Gotze transfer to weaken them for the final,

Exactly, Gotze had agreed to play for Bayern the next season before the two teams even played CL final. It is unfortunate for Dortmund. They're a great club. I do wonder how long Reus will stick around if his mate Auba leaves, with Hummels already gone.

I think Reus is the only one who is an actual Dortmund fan so I think he'll stay, I wonder if they'll stick to their selling one start a summer policy this year and Aubameyang will stay (with Hummels already gone obviously) ? Looks like Gundogan will now anyway that he's picked up that injury.

I was a massive Gotze fan when he was at Dortmund and tbh I'm delighted it hasn't worked out for him at Bayern just because of the snake he is

I don't really see the problem to be honest, if your team were top of the league and you had the chance to sign some of the best players in the league/world who just happen to be playing for your rivals in 2nd why wouldn't you ? I don't see the difference between signing a player from Dortmund and signing a top player from elsewhere.
    I know I certainly wouldn't be complaining

Lewandowski, gotze and hummels are all top players and if they're avalaible you're going to sign them and make your own team stronger, what's the problem with that ? Not just let them join another team because it might upset a few people that you are 'poaching' them
