If they get Rodgers back I’d be fuming if I were a Celtic fan. He’ll have a couple of years rebuilding his reputation then will jump ship at the first premier league opportunity

 

I partly agree but realistically where in the PL? I'm of the belief Liverpool was his big chance, he was completely found out at Leicester and I don't see a top half PL job coming his way again unless he got through champions league group stages for a year or two. For the job he done here domestically he was superb but they do say never go back.

 

Just think the media (which refuses to condemn him for his appalling management of Leicester this season) will big him up if he has a couple of good years back at Celtic

 

His stock is still high, knocked back the Leeds job.

Granted it all went to pot this season but two 5th placed finishes, an 8th place and an FA Cup win surely can't be described as being "completely found out" at Leicester?

He's quite highly rated, but he's also 16 so it's all relative.

Yeah, that’s fair. Always a gamble at that age. We’ve got a fair few of these signings spot on lately though (Ferguson the prime example) so fingers crossed he works out for both of us. We get a player and you get a payday through the clauses.
