I'm genuinely delighted for every Leicester fan on here and our old mate Dave P.

What a story! It gives hope to us all, even a shambles like Palace, Brighton, Southampton, Hammers etc.

This sort of thing keeps football alive.

Still can't get over it. 13 years ago, I stood in the rain in the away end at Stoke and watched us get relegated to League One.

Since then I watched us win all 3 top divisions and the FA Cup.

    Absolutely unbelievable.

That was our promotion day. What a day that was! Can't remember any rain though. Think your miserable memories have added some extra superficial misery to it over time

They should scrap the offside rule, it is ridiculous that goals should be disallowed because on man is one inch closer than another. Players should be able to go where they want, like in the old days. Also they should be allowed to smoke pipes, especially while the coin is flipped for which side plays in which half.

To every fan of a non top six team. This is possible, this is the dream every season. This is achievable. Keep dreaming, it’s what football is all about.

I've seen a LOT of videos online of Chelsea fans prematurely celebrating the goal and then slowly seeing the joy sucked out of them as the offside gets reviewed.

That alone justifies VAR for me

Yes I know but I’m extremely drunk and I just want to spread the belief, regardless of my user name.
This is the competition, that regardless of league, regardless of quality, given a bit of luck every supporter of every team in the league can start the season dreaming of winning.
And yes I’m extending drunk, extremely happy and talking bollocks again :laugh:

Though finishing top 4 does allow you the luxury of entering another competition you can win. As the European Cup Final this year contests.

For once the decision seemed to be made pretty quickly in relative terms.

The screen had a red offside caption before the ref or TV guys noticed.

On VAR showing lines it wasn't level 6 inches offside by looks.

    See above...wasn't an inch.

    "big 6"

and that in it self is totally unbelievable, given where we have been.
You’re not going to spoil my mood, watched the the game with nates who are all knocking on or have surpassed the age of 60.
The effect of winning a football match can have is unbelievable,
Bunch of old miserable cnuts dancing around as if they were 20 again.
    Live the dream

Not a great game for the neutral and despite only one shot on target all game I felt Leicester deserved the Cup after those 2 fantastic saves from Schmiechel and Tieleman's piledriver. Well done.
