Seen as this forum has been dead recently, I thought I'd get the ball rolling again.

I can't see anything other than a trouncing this weekend I'm afraid, think the best we'll manage is to keep them down to 2 or 3 goals.

    Anyone else going? Thoughts?

    :)

I think if Warnock watched Spurs on Saturday, and realised that if you attack then you can cause them trouble, we might give them a good run for their money. Especially if Terry doesn't play, because they're all over the place at the back when he doesn't.

No doubt though we will sit back, play about 46 defenders and let them walk all over us like at Liverpool.

At least it's only costing me £68

I don't think it will be the drubbing that Martin seems to believe it will be but, as WM says, you are well rested, Chewlsaaay have looked off defensively without Terry and there's no excuse not to give it a go.

For God sake, you and your optimism

If I remember correctly, Liverpool had been involved in a load of games before we played them, and look what happened there. :rolleyes

Mourinho has something like a 98% win rate at Stamford Bridge, with them never losing a game there under him, and only ever dropping a few points.

Don't think we'll get anything there I'm afraid.

No offence, and I totally understand what you are saying about trying to exploit their defence, but Spurs have far better attacking quality than Sheff Utd.

Lennon, Defoe, Berbatov etc exploited the defensive problems Chelsea have better than Sheff Utd will be able too.

    I predicted 3-0 Chelsea!

I think we will win

Or at least get a point.

For a ticket costing £47:eeek and a train ride for £20 I expect entertainment.

Either that or im off to the pub when their 3rd goes in

They have, I totally agree, but if we can get a goal it will be tremendous, there's a possibility they will still turn us over, but if we can take the lead the celebration will be one to remember

    I think 3-1.

Anything can happen in football but its going to take a minor miracle for us to win at stamford bridge i would just like to see warnock go for it with an attacking style if we sit back and defend like spurs did against them in the second half we are gonna get hammered well and truly.

I predict defeat at Stamford Bridge, doom, gloom, pestilence & disease before the earth cataclysmically flips it magnetic poles & life as we know it ends.

    That's because they are deluded.

If we beat Chelsea, I will eat my own arm.

I'll just settle for a 442 formation and creating a few chances, as has been posted we are not expected to win so just play with the 2 forwards anyways.

There's nothing worse than travellin away only hear the team news that we've got one man up front, it make you feel like you've been buggered for your money!!
