The forum horse last year! Think it won about 50odd to 1 on the machine for me. Just can't see Teahupoo not winning this. All connections have been saying he wants this ground, he's got it. Goes well fresh and they've held him for this. My only worry is Jack Kennedy has put some poor rides in so far this week, but surely all he has to do is sit and get round and he'll win.

Added Home By The Lee 20/1 as a cover in the Stayers (3.30). I like Iroko in the first but Facile is that short it makes it hard to cover and still be profitable

Not backed anything so far this year but had two free bets to use today. Protektorat win & Home by the Lee ew doing the business!

Pocketing the majority and spreading some e/w long shots that I like for the rest of the day:
    4:10 - Il Ridoto 17.0 / Glengouly 26.0
    4:50 - Titanium Moon 81.0
    5:30 - Cloudy Glen 23.0 / Fakir D’Alene 34.0 / City Chief 34.0

Paisley Park retired - thank god. Cracking horse but it’s been time for a while now

Theatre Man sums up my luck beautifully there.

Gutted about Theatre Man, he was one my horses of the whole meet and I didn't even get a run for my money. One of those days so far today, but honestly I prefer racing like this than what we saw yesterday. Teahupoo has repaired some damage. I'm on the fav in the last 2, if they both win we're OK, we'll see

How cool was that by Derek O'Connor on Inothewayurthinkin. I've already backed his 2 tomorrow. Some amateur. I think that's a lot of the damage repaired now, still down on the day but not too bad. Over to Chelmsford

What are we thinking for tomorrow? Hard to see Galopin des Champs being beaten in the big one but, for me, the Real Whacker at 50/1 looks massively overpriced each way.

Usually have week off for Cheltenham but not bothered this year , much prefer Aintree 3 days , more spread of winning trainers & jockeys but have done 2 this morning in Gold Cup

    Corach Rambler 18/1 ( 4 places )
Nassalam 33/1 ( 4 places ) both should like the heavy going .

Though I think GDC wins but 11/10 no value & he's 7/2 for next year's but Fact To File may have more of a say .

I’ve had a stinker of a week so far after a really good one lasy year - about £150 down so far, but hoping for a recovery today! Don’t worry, not chasing losses, I’d set aside a budget for the festival, which I’m still well under

    Here’s what I’m on:
    13:30 - Kargese E/W
    14:10 - Zenta E/W
14:50 - Reading Tommy Wrong WIN
    15:30 - Gerri Colombe E/W
    16:10 - Premier Magic E/W

And a few silly longshot multis etc. Nothing on last 2 yet, but liking Allegrie de Vassy in 16:50 and No Ordinary Joe in the last.

Corach Rambler has run a blinder today. No doubt he will shorten considerably for the National now.
