Not a dig but I genuinely believe Alvarez is better suited.

Decent game for a friendly to be fair. Nothing really to worry us in the title race though

My neighbour has just proved once again why I hate Liverpool fans.

    1:00pm,

Me: You watching the match Danny?.

Danny: If I’m home mate yeah, it’s only a friendly tho so not to bothered.

    7:00pm

“ Cringey gob**** Danny is setting fireworks off that he saved from the CL final hahahaha”

Was meant to be a positive comment but ah well seems like you are a little touchy after a friendly.

Can always count on anecdotes about how shit Liverpool fans are whenever Liverpool win. Odd that.

Hardly mate. But even in a friendly it's better to win than lose it, wouldn't you say? Especially if it's against the main competition in the forthcoming title race. Not sure why we're meant to not give a shit that we won by a two goal margin but I don't see anyone getting carried away.

City refusing to take their losers medals, yet more classless behaviour from the sportswashers

Haaland can only get better really I think. The real problem looks to be the more expensive signing who already had a year under his belt but still looks the same and is nowhere near a city or pep type player like foden is

Said after one of the friendlies that the most impressive thing about Nunez is his movement.

He had a big impact when he came on and could've scored 3 or 4 goals in half an hour against the best team in the country. It's been the same in almost every game he's played but his finishing has been a bit erratic. That will improve I'm sure.

Technically he has a lot to improve on but he is a monster physically and will score a lot of goals. As for Haaland, he will score a ton of goals if he stays fit. No doubts about it. It'll be interesting how a change in style impacts City overall though. I don't foresee a big change in Liverpool stylistically as they've always been far more direct and delivered a lot from out wide which should suit Nunez down to the ground from what I've seen so far.
