The FA are starting early with their ‘don’t give a **** about the fans’ approach. Seriously, who would bother travelling all the way to London on a Sunday evening to watch a meaningless kick about?

    Don’t blame them.

Daft to be so late on a Sunday - even for locals it's not a great time really.

Game in on ITV too - what do they have on that weekend which means it cannot be played till 5.30?

Going off the form and fitness shown in pre-season, I'd play the following:

    Ramsdale
    White Saliba Gabriel Timber
    Partey
    Odegaard Havertz
    Saka Trossard Martinelli

It's not the team I'd pick to face Man City in high stakes league match but recent form should be rewarded.

Looking like it’s the following from us:

    Ramsdale
    White Saliba Gabriel Timber
    Partey
    Odegaard Rice
    Saka Havertz Martinelli

Slap in the face for Trossard, I thought he was in excellent form this pre season. Havertz up top as well having not played a single minute there in pre season.

Don’t get this line up to be honest but I do get it if it’s further experimenting from Arteta.

What is up with Arteta in always dropping Trossard?

My only take is it’s a tactical decision to allow us to have an option to go over the press. You’d rather it was Havertz dealing with the aerial stuff than Trossard.
